Kansas is 0-7 (0-4) after dropping a 58-10 decision to Oklahoma State in Stillwater last weekend. The Jayhawks were never in the game against the Cowboys after a spirited effort the week before against Texas Tech.
Oklahoma comes into the game with a 6-1 (3-1) record and ranked 13/14 in the polls. The Sooners are coming off a 63-27 pasting of Texas Tech. Prior to that, they absolutely smoked K-State in Manhattan in a 55-0 win.
This game has the same pre-game vibes as every game since Iowa State. The Jayhawks are massive underdogs (-40 last I checked on Friday) and really don't have much going for them. It is Homecoming weekend, so hopefully that will give the 'Hawks a decent crowd that they can feed off of. Who knows, maybe they can make it a game for two or three quarters. Or maybe the unthinkable will happen. (Although probably not, because since we just now thought about it, it's no longer unthinkable. Amirite?)
Anyway, it's almost gametime, so you know what that means:
