KU Volleyball moves up to #7

The University of Kansas Volleyball program is one of two remaining unbeatens in women's Division 1 volleyball (#1 Southern Cal is the other) and the Jayhawks continue to climb in the AVCA top 25 poll.  Each time Kansas moves up, it sets a new mark for the highest ranking attained by the program.

#2 Texas is the only other Big 12 team appearing in the rankings.

In terms of RPI, the Jayhawks rank #8.  Other Big 12 teams in the top 50 of the RPI include #6 Texas, #21 Iowa State, and #30 Baylor.

This upcoming week is huge for the Jayhawks.  They will host Oklahoma on Wednesday night at the Horesji Center in Lawrence before traveling to Austin for their first crack at Texas on Friday night.  You can catch the OU match at 6:30 on ESPN3, while the Texas match will be broadcast on the Longhorn Network at 8 PM.
