The preseason coaches poll is out. Half of the Big 12 is in the poll: Kansas (5), Iowa State (7), Oklahoma (8), Baylor (21), and West Virginia (23), with Texas receiving votes. Yes, that means the Big 12 leads the way in the top ten with three teams.
Kansas follows Kentucky, North Carolina, Maryland, and Duke in rounding out the top 5.
Wichita State came in at #12.
