For exactly five minutes and 33 seconds of Saturday's 66-7 mismatch in front of a crowd of 25,910 at Memorial Stadium, the Kansas University football team hung in there with third-ranked Baylor.

NFL very likely to play regular season game in Mexico City in 2016 -
While there was little tangible news to come out of the NFL's owners meeting last week in New York, there was a very strong sense among the clubs in attendance that a regular season game will be played in Mexico next season. It was a strong topic of discussion in the meeting -- the league office is not hiding its support of the idea and teams anticipate the NFL beginning the process of finding a team to agree to part with a home game shortly.

United States wins 2015 Presidents Cup 15.5 to 14.5 over Internationals -
The United States won its ninth Presidents Cup overall and sixth straight on Sunday in South Korea. It was a lot more complicated than that, though. For the first time in Presidents Cup history, the tournament was decided by the final match (Bill Haas vs. Sangmoon Bae).

Report: Giants Tight End Daniel Fells Could Lose Foot To MRSA Infection
Daniel Fells suffered an ankle injury in practice a little over a week ago. Initially, it wasn’t thought to be serious. He was given a cortisone shot for the pain and coach Tom Coughlin was optimistic he’d play last week. Instead, he went to the hospital with 104-degree fever and has since undergone five surgeries to combat a nasty Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection centered near his ankle.

Rutgers Loses Mind, Spikes Ball On Fourth Down
Hapless Rutgers somehow found themselves with a shot to tie up fourth-ranked Michigan State and force overtime in New Jersey. But that shot was wasted when confusion reigned and quarterback Chris Laviano spiked the ball instead of organizing a hail mary attempt. It’s as if for 59 minutes and 50 seconds, the Scarlet Knights performed like a competent football team; in the final moments, they kept it real.
