Kansas football signs Kenny Perry as co-defensive coordinator

Kansas has a new addition to the coaching staff

It is being reported that head coach David Beaty has made a new addition to his coaching staff: TCU cornerbacks coach Kenny Perry. Perry will coach corners at Kansas, but will also serve as co-defensive coordinator with Clint Bowen. I won't claim to be an expert on all things TCU, but I do know that Perry has been part of a very successful defensive coaching staff under head coach Gary Patterson. However, it should also be noted that Perry is still pretty green in terms of major college football experience

Per his bio at gofrogs.com, Perry came to TCU in 2013 as their director of high school relations and recruiting. 2014 was his first year in a position coach role. Prior to TCU, he was a three-time District Coach of the Year in the Dallas high school coaching ranks. He has 22 total years of football coaching experience.
