We're back with another edition of Weird Wednesday, where we look at the weirdest and strangest of the past week.
Not much help finding any of these videos this week. While I enjoy looking these up, it takes quite a while to scour and find enough stories to use for this each week, so I would greatly appreciate any stories you guys can email my way.
Honorable Mentions:
Chris Sale Flexes His Comprehensive Vocabulary After Starts
I thought it was against the rules for jocks to be smart.
Edinson Volquez Snags Comebacker With Nifty No-Look Move
So nifty, I almost forgot to look.....
Anchor Name-Drops 22 Robin Williams Movies In His Sportscast
This was pretty impressive, as the first time through I was only certain I heard 3 of the movies.
And now, on to the top 5.
#5 - Just A Few Baseball Fans Dressed As Peapods, Chatting
Are these fans lost? Not sure what the Peapods have to do with anything.
#4 - Injuries Are Laying Waste To The Tigers; Not Even The Bat Boy Is Safe
I don't care how much you look up to the players on the team, trying to join them on the DL is taking it that creepy-stalker level...
#3 - Old Cubs Fan Makes Great Catch On Home Run, Throws Dummy Ball Back
With the amazing effort to make this catch, I can't blame him for wanting to keep the ball.
#2 - This Is What Happens When You Ask Reddit For Legal Advice
I think this is the best real-life equivalent of the "tampering" rule that I could find.
#1 - For Sale: Native-Made Washington "Foreskins" Logo (Ed Note: May be NSFW)
This is the perfect response to the "dickish" move that the team in Washington made in asking that Native American artists should come to sell their art without being drunk or under the influence.
So there we have it, your top 5 for the week. Can any of these beat last week's winner?
