Kansas Basketball To Be Featured on Big Monday

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

As is now custom, ESPN's Big Monday will feature doubleheaders between ACC teams (6 pm) and Big 12 teams (8 pm) starting January 2015. As has been custom for virtually the entire run of Big 12 games on Big Monday, Kansas is prominently featured. They'll feature four times on Big Monday:

It starts January 19, when Oklahoma makes a visit to Allen Fieldhouse in what I think (spoiler alert) will be a matchup between the eventual #1 and #2 teams in the conference.

On February 2, Iowa State will venture to Allen Fieldhouse in a renewal of what has probably been the best rivalry in the league over the last two years. Iowa State will likely mount more of a challenge in the Big 12 this year, even after losing Big 12 POY Melvin Ejim and DeAndre Kane, who was the Cyclones' best player last season.

On February 16 Kansas will head to West Virginia as they look to avenge their most head scratching loss of the 2013-14 season, and maybe another Freshman will go for 40+ points.

The Jayhawks round out their Big 12 slate on February 23 when they visit K State and attempt to avenge another head scratcher.
