Sorry I'm a bit late with this guys, but I thought it would still be a good thing to get in, even this late in the weekend.
My personal VOTW is taking the entire family on a 3 mile walk over the weekend. Normally, that wouldn't be much of an accomplishment, but we brought along my 6-year-old daughter, who usually can't walk more than about half a mile before her feet start hurting.
My KU VOTW was Brad Thorson's announcement and the reaction to it. Regardless of your religious or personal views about the lifestyle, this really is an issue that shouldn't be an issue. It shouldn't matter to fans or other players if someone in the locker room is gay or not, and to see the positive reaction of support that came from his announcement shows that we are taking steps in the right direction.
