University of Kansas Softball NCAA Tournament: Kansas Upsets No. 19 Huskers, 3-1
The Jayhawks (34-21, 7-11 Big 12) will face Missouri on Saturday, May 17 at 3:30 p.m. with the winner advancing to the Regional Championship. The victory over the Cornhuskers marks the second victory over a Top-25 ranked team in 2014 and improves KU's record to 15-20 in NCAA Tournament play.

Kansas was a strike away from a scoreless first inning Friday but wound up scoring all of its runs in a 3-1 victory over Nebraska in the opening game of a NCAA softball regional at University Field. Next up for KU is Missouri at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The winner advances to the regional championship game Sunday. The loser faces an elimination game to reach Sunday's final.

University of Kansas Baseball No. 22 Kansas Seeded Third at Big 12 Championship
The No. 22-ranked Kansas baseball team will enter the 2014 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship as the No. 3 seed and will play the sixth-ranked school in the first round, the conference announced Friday afternoon.
