KU grabbed the marquee wins of the week with its victories over Georgetown and Utah, but that tends to happen when no one else in the conference plays anyone of note.

Iowa State 90, Iowa 75
Iowa State 88, Southern 78
It didn’t seem to matter that Bryce Dejean-Jones was suspended for the Iowa game. Five other Cyclones scored in double figures as Fred Hoiberg’s guys continued to roll. One problem for this team could be depth. Only seven guys saw action in the win against the Hawkeyes.
Good wins: Arkansas (RPI: 14), Alabama (RPI: 20)
Good Losses: Maryland (Current RPI: 30)
Bad Losses: None

Results:
OSU 73, Memphis 55
After that embarrassing loss to South Carolina, the Cowboys bounced back my trouncing the hapless Tigers. OSU may have the hardest non-con left in the conference. I take that back. One of their games is against Missouri.

God Losses: None
Bad Losses: None
Texas Longhorns, Record: 8-1 overall, 1-0 this week, RPI: 8
Results:
Texas 59, Texas State 27
Texas just might be the team to beat in the Big 12. It was another convincing win for the Longhorns and they don’t play another team in the RPI top 30 until the new year when they face Oklahoma.
