The Jayhawks look to finish off their season with a strong showing against in-state rival and 12-ranked Kansas State Saturday afternoon in Manhattan. The 'Hawks come in at 3-8, 1-7 after being demolished by Samaje Perine and the Oklahoma Sooners last weekend.
Kansas State is 8-2 (6-1) after escaping Morgantown on a Thursday night nine days ago. Man, that's just what Bill Snyder needs is two extra days to prepare for Kansas...
Kansas is 65-41-5 all-time versus the Wildcats, however, you might not know it based on recently history. (Obviously, however, all good Kansas fans know the overall series record.) Anyway, K-State has won the last five in this series and 17 of the last 21.
Once again, the Jayhawks are big underdogs, bigger even than last week at OU. Can they keep this one close and give themselves a shot at a huge upset, maybe win one for ole Clint?
