Jayhawks picked up a win and moved to 3-6 after clobbering Iowa State last week. Unfortunately, Iowa State wasn't at full strength, and have been in a free fall for several weeks now. Was the win an aberration, a la West Virginia last year?
TCU is 8-1 and fresh off smoking Kansas State in Fort Worth last weekend. The Horned Frogs are ranked #4 in the college football playoff poll and are aiming for a spot in said playoffs. Their only blemish on the year was a three point setback to Baylor in Waco in a crazy 61-58 affair. The Frogs put up points quick, fast, and in a hurry.
Kansas is 8-18-4 all-time versus TCU. The Frogs have won the last two matchups in the series, which have occurred since TCU joined the Big 12. Prior to that, Kansas had a three-game winning streak against the Frogs, from 1995-97.
It is Senior Day for 21 seniors. Unfortunately, Kansas is not expected to win this game, as evidenced by the 28.5 point line. The 'Hawks have only failed to cover the spread once under Clint Bowen. Can they keep this one close and give themselves a shot at a huge upset?
