The Jayhawks fell to 2-3 after a disastrous roadtrip to West Virginia. The defense gave up 550+ yards - but only 33 points - but the offense couldn't even muster 200 total yards. We've seen how well the Jayhawks operate without Tony Pierson. I'd like to see how they do when he's a big part of the gameplan.
Oklahoma State improved to 4-1 with a win over mighty Iowa State last week. Clearly, the Cowboys picked the right cleats, at least in the second half. OSU's only blemish on the year was a very competitive bout with Florida State in the season opener.
Kansas is 29-32-3 all-time vs Oklahoma State. However, the series has been decidedly lopsided of late. OSU has won the last four in a row, nine of the last ten, and has only lost to Kansas eight times since 1969. The three ties were 1973, 1980, and 1982.
Feel free to use this as a Royals game thread as well if the football game gets out of hand.
