Videos: KU prepares for start of exhibition basketball Tuesday -
After more than a month of practice, Kansas will open its two-game exhibition schedule against Pittsburg State at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Allen Fieldhouse. The game will provide the next step in a maturation process for a six-man freshman class that includes No. 1 overall recruit Andrew Wiggins and probable starter Wayne Selden.

Self said Frank Mason should change the pace every time he enters a game, because he'll only be playing 3-4 minutes at a time, whereas in practice, he goes for 2 1/2 hours and like all other players naturally wears down. -This is one of those things Self says but we never see because he doesn't seem to allow it in games.

New KU basketball network to debut Tuesday -
Time Warner Cable, Comcast and WOW! in the Kansas City and Lawrence areas are the exclusive local carriers of the Jayhawk Television Network, which will air two KU football and six basketball games this season, including Tuesday’s basketball exhibition opener against Pittsburg State and Saturday’s KU football game at Texas. The games will air in the Kansas City area on the Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, formerly Metro Sports.
