Kansas Football

KU cornerback Greg 'Lockdown' Brown living up to his name |
Wish this guy, and several others, had one more year.

Senior transfers don’t regret coming to KU -
I think these guys helped in ways other than what we saw on the field and I think that should be recognized.

Charlie Weis pays for KU students to come to seniors’ final home game | Dr. Saturday - Yahoo! Sports
This gesture is getting some solid national attention and Kansas football was also pointed to as a program that definitely appears to be improving under Weis in another national article this week.

KU athletic director interested to see what new Big 12 university is doing |
I hope this happens, nice revenue stream and just another way to improve the environment. It seems to have worked well at WVU and I disagree that it would somehow present a risk if managed properly.

Kansas Basketball

College Football

Stanford-Oregon, USC-UCLA headline Week 12 college football picks - Stewart Mandel -
Eyes are pointed West this weekend. Big test for Oregon and they surely would like to see USC win to help give them an additional bump in the Pac 12 title game. No reason to leave much to chance.

College Basketball

UCLA's Shabazz Muhammad regains eligibility from NCAA - NCAA Basketball -
Another wildly inconsistent enforcement of rules by the NCAA.

No articles, but a lot of chatter surrounding Maryland to the Big 12 being announced next week. That would seem to reopen some potential dominoes around the country.
