SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings "
Not a whole lot of change in my blog poll ballot but there is one major change at the top. I'm just thoroughly impressed with what LSU has done to start the year for a variety of reasons. They were facing a ton of distractions, they stepped up and took on a very tough non conference schedule and they've passed every test with flying colors. This is an extremely talented and sound defensive team and they have pro talent all over the field. Have I mentioned how glad I am that I'll be heading to Baton Rouge for a game this year?
The other team I like is Wisconsin and I've moved them to #4. I like the Badger brand of football and while I'm anxious to see them go through the Big 10 schedule I feel like it's a pretty manageable schedule this year and you never know how things could shake out near the top.
A few more odds and ends after the jump.
- Okie Light moves up a spot while A&M stays the same. This was a good game and an impressive step for the Cowboys in their quest to win the Big 12.
- Florida continues to win and win big and they are just outside of my top 10 as a handful in that 12-18 range lost this weekend. Most lost to strong opponents, but I see Florida as a tougher matchup for a lot of those teams.
- RGIII? This guy is good and Baylor is looking real good, especially from an offensive perspective. I'll be anxious to see if their defense can rise to the occasion when they start playing the upper echelon of Big 12 talent.
- Michigan and Illinois representing the Big 10? Personally I like having these two teams in the mix. Hard to say if they'll stay there and I don't think either is a top 20 caliber team but it's nice to have Michigan back in the mix and a new face in the Illini.
