I guess it keeps the BCS spot in tact but it sure doesn't feel like a win and I think it all depends if the other four leagues go to 16 or not. Obviously Kansas would probably become more competitive in football instantly but it still seems like a tough pill to swallow.

Louisville talking about a merger between Big 12/Big East. The scenario actually isn't as bad as I thought when he lays it out from a football standpoint. I'm not a huge fan of sucking up that entire Big East with the basketball only schools but the teams laid out here have a presence in Texas, Florida and Kansas would have a shot at being more competitive.
