No Mention Of Kansas As The Preseason All Big 12 Team Are Announced

Not that this is a huge surprise considering the disaster that ensued during the 2010 season, but Kansas is sorely represented on the preseason All Big 12 Football teams.  The media of course votes on these teams and the first and second teams along with offensive, defensive and newcomer of the year were all released yesterday.

Oklahoma leads all teams with 9 members selected and Texas A&M and Oklahoma State both follow that number up with 4 players each.  In all there are 8 Big 12 teams represented with Kansas and Baylor being the two teams without a mention.

2011 Preseason All-Big 12 Football Team
Offensive Player of the Year: Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State (WR, 6-1, 215, Jr/2L, Ardmore, Okla.)
Defensive Player of the Year: Travis Lewis, Oklahoma (LB, 6-2, 233, Sr/3L, San Antonio, Texas)
Newcomer of the Year: Malcolm Brown, Texas (RB, 6-0, 215, Fr/HS, Cibolo, Texas/Steele)
