UPDATE: Our first surprise of the signing day festivities as Kansas has gone out and added another Junior College Linebacker to the list of newbies.
Navarro Junior College Prospect Malcolm Walker has decided to become a Jayhawk according to Rivals.com Walker had offers from Mississippi State, Western Kentucky, San Jose State and interest from Kansas State and Kansas.
Here's the kicker, he's WALKING ON and he's already on campus. A player with an SEC offer is walking on? I'm a little stunned but I'd say he must be decent.
Walker is 6'2" 215 and brings the all important thing for Turner Gill and that's speed. Another interesting tidbit from the article on Jayhawkslant, Walker says Kansas might run more of a 3-4! I think we all saw that potential with Toben last year, but with a few more LB's on the roster that might be getting closer to a reality. Thoughts?
