Four star recruit Andrew White has made a decision and he is going to be a Jayhawk. The 6'6" guard/small forward from Virginia chose Kansas over NC State, Cincinnati, and Georgetown, among others.
White has the ability to be a very good three point shooter in college, and he also is a really good ball handler (though some scouts have said that he relies on his jumper a bit too much rather than getting into the lane). Though I think based on watching the team so far this year we can all say that having a three point bomber would be a nice thing to have.
White is currently the 56th ranked player in the 2012 class and when paired with Perry Ellis (24), Zach Peters (144), Landen Lucas and Ben McLemore and Jamari Traylor, who for all intents and purposes will be Freshmen next year, Kansas suddenly has a pretty good class looming for next year. They're also in on some big names who have yet to declare (though I doubt that Shabazz is coming) and they're in on some big 2013 guys too. Hopefully the days of big recruiting misses are over.
