Welcome to the Rock Chalk Talk and your open thread for week five of the 2011 Kansas Jayhawk football season.
Kansas returns home to Memorial Stadium this weekend and opens up Big 12 play against the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Both schools are in year two with a new coach following somewhat tumultuous exits of the previous regime. For Kansas it's been a struggle, while Tech has endured the change a little bit more easily. This week the Jayhawks will look to show better than they did in their last outing when they were dismantled by another Tech school down in Georgia. For the Red Raiders, it's about kicking off the Big 12 season right.
