Tunde Bakare Commits To Kansas

Jayhawkslant and Phog.net are both reporting another commitment for the Kansas Jayhawk football team.  This one comes from junior college outside linebacker prospect Tunde Bakare

Bakare actually played safety at Highland Community College in Kansas and had a final two of East Carolina and Kansas.  East Carolina would have been a chance to return to his home state after spending some time away at junior college, but Kansas provided a different type of opportunity.

Bakare is listed at 6' 215 and will play outside linebacker for the Jayhawks.  He figures to compete immediately for a starting role at the position in the fall.

Bakare is the 3rd commitment for the Jayhawks this weekend and the 26th committed player for the 2011 class.  At this point Turner Gill's class is believed to be full or have just one spot remaining.  We'll know by next week.
