Jon Kirby with Jayhawkslant is reporting that Georgia defensive end Javonte Daniel has committed to Kansas. Daniel is a 6'4" 215 pound defensive end out of LaGrange Georgia.
Rivals.com reports offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Memphis, Marshall and others. Kansas was Daniel's third visit and he was heavily favoring Kansas heading into the trip. Another athlete for the end position with great length and good potential for Turner Gill and Kansas.
Prior to Daniel's commitment Kansas had moved up to 30th in the national team recruiting rankings and ranked 5th among Big 12(-2) teams.
