Four-star RB Anthony Pierson commits to KU football | KUsports.com
A couple more items of note on Pierson. His 1408 yards were compiled in JUST 6 GAMES. Second, his 4.45 forty time is said to be on the slow end of what he runs. Guys like Miller, Berglund and Pierson along with the stockpile of offensive lineman are a great foundation class for Gill. If he is still 3-9 after five years at Kansas we can feel pretty good that it wasn't a complete lack of talent that caused it.

Quantity or quality or both ... a Mark Mangino Memory | CJOnline.com
Tully looks back at '08 when we had a couple RB's leave the program and compares Mangino to Gill a little bit in a quality vs. quantity discussion.

Bears, not bench, inspired Josh Selby in KU basketball's win over Baylor | KUsports.com
Just a quick look at Josh Selby. His time riding the pine for much of the second half against Nebraska raised a few eyebrows. Whether it was Baylor or that time, he says it's Baylor and a Big Monday game that inspired him.

Big 12

Big 12 men’s basketball roundup: No. 10 Texas snaps No. 11 Texas A&M's winning streak | KUsports.com
A game of note last night in the Big 12 as Texas knocks off Texas A&M. I think we all know what this means for Saturday's game. 1st place is at stake. One team will remain undefeated in the league, it might as well be the Jayhawks.

Did John Calipari go too far berating Terrence Jones? - The Dagger - NCAAB  - Yahoo! Sports
No opinion on the incident itself, coaches get on players and this wasn't anything worse than we've seen down the road. What I think is comical is Calipari apologizing for "my language at the end of the game". Really? So now that he's sorry I'm sure he'll never use it again...
