Kansas Jayhawk News and Notes Gameday Edition

After a long week of "holy hells" we're back for more. Thanks to KUGrad I think we're all feeling much better about our chances this weekend and a healthy dose of kool-aid never hurt anyone after a disaster like last weekend. 

Getting back to reality however, this game looks like a tough one.  Josh Nesbitt is one of the top playmakers in the country, the Tech offense can prove deadly and if nothing else they certainly keep control of the ball and if the Jayhawk defense spends the whole game on the field it will be a tough one.

My hope,? Give me better than last week.  Just get back to square one, button things up and compete. Early kick, be here for the RCT Open Thread a half hour before.

Gameday Notes

Georgia Tech rushed for 372 yards (third best mark in the nation in the first week) against South Carolina State. KU allowed just 73 rushing yards by North Dakota State (28th best mark in the country) last week.

Kansas has recorded at least 48,000 in attendance in 50,000-seat Memorial Stadium in 16 consecutive games. Better take care of business sometime over the next two weeks or that streak could be at risk for New Mexico State.
