I know the realignment talks have gotten a bit old but the first time a report involves what appears to be something VERY serious and potentially happening VERY soon.
The Texas Rivals site Orangebloods.com is reporting that the Pac 10 is set to invite six Big 12 teams to join the conference. Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Colorado are the six teams reportedly set to receive the invites with Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Baylor, Iowa State and Nebraska the six teams that will likely be in search of a new home.
Can't say this is good news. If the preliminary rumors out of the Big 10 are true with just Nebraska and Missouri as possible candidates then Kansas will be looking square in the face at the possibility of being left behind. It's looking more and more like make or break time for Lew. Kansas needs to do anything in it's power to find a home in a MAJOR conference. This is a potentially major blow. Thoughts?
