Kansas Jayhawk News and Notes 10.8.10

Well, I'd say Nebraska firmly planted themselves as frontrunners in the North.  Getting Missouri at home is huge and Texas in Lincoln rather than Oklahoma doesn't hurt.  That Martinez character...WOW!!!  That's speed.  Pretty sure that guy spells bad news for us, people look like they are standing still when he runs past them.

Also, that Lavonte David character that was covering the entire field from middle linebacker and had 10 tackles in the 1st quarter and a half, he was strongly considering Kansas before Bill Miller's departure. Difference maker? I'd say so.  I'd say Thursday is winnable, but Bill Snyder will certainly have the Wildcats amped up looking for some revenge after that one.
