It's been pointed out many times that at this point statistically speaking Kansas looks great.  It has also been pointed out that this early in the season, stats are a lot like puppets and you can make them say and do what you want.

Kansas hasn't played anyone like USM and hasn't played a Kansas.  This game will be the toughest test for both to date and at this point these two teams are near mirror images minus a few areas.  Offenses are both explosive and while the USM passing attack hasn't been putting up the numbers that Kansas has it's safe to say the Kansas passing game hasn't been firing on all cylinders either.

Defensively both teams have been very good and exceptional against the run.  So what wins out?  Does this turn into an up and down shootout or are these defenses for real.  Either way I think we're in for a good one Saturday.  Hopefully the Kansas staff can keep the Jayhawks focused on the task at hand and avoid the other distractions of the week to come out with a win.
