Nuts & Bolts Preview: Kansas vs. Nebraska

Kansas vs. Nebraska

No. 15/18 Kansas (21-5, 10-1) continues its two-game home stand against Nebraska (16-8, 6-5) on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 3 p.m. on the Big 12 Television Network. Kansas improved to 10-1 in Big 12 play with a 72-55 win against Iowa State Wednesday. The victory marked the 15th-straight year the Jayhawks have won 10 or more conference games. The win also extended the nation’s longest home court winning streak to 38 games. On Wednesday, Nebraska defeated Colorado 46-41 to improve to 16-8 on the season and 6-5 in Big 12 play. The Huskers have won three of their last four contests.

Denver's Thoughts...

Well they aren't on the level of Iowa State but this is a game I expect to win and pray we aren't overlooking as we head to Big Monday.  My gut tells me that after a very physical game in Lincoln our players will be looking forward to this one and prepared to give our friend Cookie Miller a warm welcome.  Doc will try to slow it down and make it ugly again the thing is like Iowa State the first time I think we bring a lot more to the table with Marcus Morris this game.  Kansas wins this one fairly easily, at least by our adjusted standards this year.  Meaning a fairly comfortable margin but also one that if our team had the killer instinct it would be much wider.

Final Score: Kansas 73  Nebraska 59
