Reesing, Meier and Stuckey to Play in East/West Shrine Game

LAWRENCE, Kan. - University of Kansas football fans will hopefully get one more chance to see quarterback Todd Reesing throw passes to wide receiver Kerry Meier, as the duo have accepted invitations to play in the East-West Shrine Football Game Jan. 23.

The pair join KU safety Darrell Stuckey, who was already named a participant in the contest, to make a total of three Jayhawks in the game that will take place at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. and be televised on ESPN2 at 2 p.m. Central.

Reesing, Meier and Stuckey will play for the West team, which will be coached by Marty Schottenheimer, who coached in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers.
