Kansas State has made a surprise run in the conference tournament and will meet Texas this afternoon at 1PM in the title game. The game will be broadcast on FSN.
This is Kansas State's first apperence in the title game and a lot is on the line for the Wildcats. With a record of only 29-28 overall Kansas State has no real hope of winning an NCAA at-large bid if they lose today. Texas is already a lock so the K-Staters have more motivation.
Congratulations to Texas. Final score: Texas 15 - Kansas State 7
Texas A&M, Oklahoma State and Nebraska were all awarded regional host slots this afternoon. The top eight seeds (who will have a chance to host a super regional) and the rest of the feild of 64 will be announced tomorrow afternoon.
