Here we sit, only 3 hours shy of our second round game against UNLV. This is a game we need to win, obviously, and we shouldn't have much trouble.
Sure, the Runnin' Rebs are a very good basketball team, a team that could enforce their defensive strength against us all day long. However, we have the homecourt advantage on our side, we have the talent edge and we seem to have regained the attitude we so desperately need to be successful.
I'll be expecting a really close game in the first half, most likely a low-scoring affair as well. However, look for a second half explosion by the Jayhawks, led by some three-point shooting by Brandon and Mario, as we pull away for good.
