I wasn't able to see it, my Tivo screwed up and didn't record the game, but am going to make an effort to watch it on the PC sometime tonight. Anyways, we looked awesome, apparently, and destroyed the Portland State Vikings from the opening tip to the final buzzer. Much more on the game a little later, probably tomorrow after I get a chance to actually watch the action.
In Saturday afternoon's game, we will be facing the UNLV Runnin' Rebels, a team looking to make its second consecutive Sweet 16. Fooch from over at Niners Nation has been nice enough to offer to answer some questions about his favorite college basketball team, the Rebs, so look for that sometime tomorrow as well. I will also be previewing these Rebs sometime tomorrow, so Friday should be a busy day here at RCT.
In the meantime, sit back and watch the final four games being played tonight. I just jumped and screamed and yelled and jumped some more for two hours, thanks to the Mega March Madness package, for the 15-seeded Belmont Bruins to pull off the unthinkable and upset the universally hated Duke Blue Devils. Alas, it wasn't to be, but even with the sting of disappointment associated with the game, it was easily the best game of the day so far. Notre Dame has already pulled away from 2006 Cinderella George Mason, but the other three games are close (albeit the UCLA-Mississippi Valley State contest is 2 minutes old).
