214-23.

That is the scoring differential of the four games thus far in the 2007 season. I know, those four teams have been Central Michigan, Southeastern Louisiana, Toledo and Florida International, but that is still a very impressive figure. That is an average score of 53.5 to 5.75, an average margin of victory of 47.75 points. A game. I don't care if that is against a junior varsity high school team, that is utter domination, domination that will hopefully carry over to Big 12 play.

We continued our home-cooking last night, smoking the Golden Panthers and putting the game away for good by halftime. Sure, we got off to a slow start and didn't score before a blocked punt in the endzone, but we more than took care of business. The night was exclamation-pointed by Aqib Talib with an 103 yard interception return, his 4th TD in as many games.

So easy, it's laughable...

We will start recapping the game tomorrow, but for now simply enjoy the Chiefs' victory today as well as our utter domination last night, because our focus turns to Kansas State pretty soon. Despite our success thus far this season, much of America, including the media, still views us as simply a 'decent' team, only capable of beating up inferior competition. We need to win games like the one in Manhattan, especially if we want to be considered a Big 12 North contender.

ROCK CHALK!
