If only the Chiefs could play as well as the Jayhawks. I have to admit, despite the Jayhawks' dominance thus far in the 2007 season, the Chiefs 0-2 start has put a damper on the two most recent victories. But I'm over it, and moving back to the Jayhawks makes it better. Starting tomorrow, I will begin a new way of recapping the games, leaving grades almost completely out of it. It is more ambitious, and I won't be done until Tuesday at the earliest, but I think it will be more informative and easier for me to do in a way, since giving out grades to a game which you didn't see a single play of isn't the best idea. Ever. But anyways, let's take a brief recap at pounding #3 by the Jayhawks...

Our coach can eat your coach...
Mangino is clearly earning brownie points with the fans, even though it will all quickly evaporate should he struggle in Big 12 play. By the way, even the most negative outlooks on the Jayhawks season had us going 3-1 in this patsie-cake non-conference schedule, with 90+% predicting a perfect 4-0 mark. They then said we would go on to win as few as 2 Big 12 games, making us a not-so-good 6-6 on the fringe of bowl eligibility for another year. If such a slide occurs, Mangino's seat will grow quite hot, although I think that we will go at least 7-5. More on the game later tonight/tomorrow...
