Not for the entire game, but Brandon Ore will not see the field of play during the 1st quarter January 3rd in the Orange Bowl. He was late to a team practice, and that is enough to be suspended for most coaches, even a mostly-prominent player like Brandon Ore.
According to the ESPN article, sophomore Kenny Lewis, Ore's backup during the season, will start in his place.
Not sure how much impact this has on the game, their running game figures to be worse off in the first quarter because of it, but Ore has disappointed all season long. Plus, despite receiving 53 carries on the season, Lewis is more of an unknown quantity.
More on the suspension in our preview of the running games.
