Thought with Misery going out in the first round and us in the Final Four, it was an appropriate time to post it.

It's all over but the bitter recriminations, as FLJhawk emerges from the fray, flying up into the sky, ever higher, the Pac-12 Championship Trophy clenched in his jaws. He blazes like a second sun, far beyond the grasp of his shadowy nemesis tequilaprophet, who curses Louisville for only being able to win twice more.

The people of America will sing of this victory one day, as they eat their Wheat Thins. They will look up to the sky, hearts brimming with gratitude, crumbs flying as they proclaim: Hail FLJhawk! Hail FLJhawk! He won by at least 5 points!

KU Women's Win made the front page of ESPN

Major conference KenPom pyth scores over the last 9.5 seasons. I made this to show the strange track of the Pac-10/Pac-12 --- but look at that 2008 season! The team that finished on top that season must have been pretty good, yep.

Here's a little chart that gives a different view of the KU three point defense. This chart shows how many more (or fewer points) KU opponents would have scored in a game if they "shot their average" from the 3, still taking the same number of shots.

For example, UCLA shot 14 3-pointers against KU in Maui. With UCLA's 30% 3P% they'd expect on average to sink 4.2 of them for 12.6 points. Instead, they sank 8 for 24 points, resulting in 11.4 points more than they "should have" scored.

My lazy-ass guesstimate is that, luck aside, our defense is spotting tournament-caliber teams one made 3 per game.
