Final Four
First fanshot so I will probably screw this up. I live in New Orleans and am going to the final four. I know some fans that are coming down might be having trouble finding hotel accommodations, so I thought I would help a fan out. I have an extra couch and the first person to respond is welcome to it. No weirdos, just normal fan/fans that need a hand. Rock Chalk Jayhawk Go KU!!!

Does Jimmy Mindine get a shot?
Flipping through channels and saw the last minute of the KState game so was curious how we scored our last TD. Jimmy Mundine had 3 or 4 catches on the drive from Meachem and not to mention the TD. Now I know most are sick of KU football but I figured I'd try to actually talk about a young player. He's a RS FR tight end, anyone think he's got a chance to get some more PT? Or I guess you could just answer, "I don't care", I wouldn't hate.
Late Night Camping?
I'm new to KU and I was wondering how early camping for Late Night generally starts. I've heard some people say the whole week before and others just the night/morning before. Anyone know?
Anyone looking for a fantasy football league?
I run a friends/family league, and due to some last minute cancellations, we've got some spots available if someone wants to join. It's $20 to join, and the top 3 finishers get cash prizes at the end. We also have a consolation bracket, where the winner gets their money back. The league is through Yahoo!, so if you're interested, sign up for a Yahoo! account and e-mail me at: ajanzen91@gmail.com
Can someone explain the benefit of a 16-team conference?
Sure, there's more overall revenue, and I suppose more "power" with more member institutions. But all I see is that each team's relevance gets watered down - the bigger the pond, the smaller the fish. ... For instance, why would current SEC members want to add A&M (and/or other teams)? That just makes it harder for LSU, UG, UF, etc. to win the SEC. ... Or is the only reason for expansion to add the state of Texas? Is "expansion" really just a euphemism for "adding Texas as a TV subscriber state"? Other than the Texas thing, is there a good reason to go to 16 teams?
USC beats Tennessee, 65 - 64
It was brought up in the other thread, but thought I'd fanshot it for those who didn't see. It was mentioned that USC's win will help KU's RPI, but even more important IMO is this: it was worrisome that KU got taken to the wire by an afterthought USC team - but maybe USC is better than people thought, and having a close game against them isn't so worrisome after all.
Repairing a broken head coach
I don't have the time right now, but I think this is a topic worth discussing: 1. It is looking more and more like HCTG isn't going anywhere any time soon (based on the general understanding of his contract). 2. Bitching about his lack of success so far isn't getting us anywhere. 3. What are the problems, which ones can be fixed, and how does KU, HCTG, or someone else (the players?) go about fixing them? 4. Can these be fixed and will they be fixed? If so, when? And if not, why not?
Who are we rooting for? Nebraska or K-state?
Who are we rooting for? Nebraska or K-state? It makes sense to root against K-State, them being our rival and all--but KSU is the underdog and NU is the Big 12 traitor.
