KU softball bounced back in a big way against Iowa State in Lawrence this weekend. The Jayhawks have completed their regular season with a record of 31-20, 8-9 Big 12. There is no postseason conference tournament, KU's postseason fate lies in the hands of the NCAA Softball Tournament committee. Kansas has been "on the bubble" for the last several weeks, so they may be sweating out the selection show which airs tonight at 9 PM Jayhawk time on ESPNU.

Kansas finished in 4th place thanks to the sweep of ISU. A little better showing against Texas and Oklahoma State would have seen the Jayhawks finish even higher. However, Kansas has shown this year that they can play with anyone, knocking off Oklahoma once and giving Baylor all they could handle in all three games against the Bears.
