I've been getting soft around the midsection for a while now and since summer is right around the corner, this is a good opportunity to shape up. This will be a summer series on here. It will probably go until around the time of KU's first football game. Here is my vision for how this will go. Everyone will post their summer fitness goals. This can range from running a marathon, losing 15 pounds, lifting x amount of weight, etc. We are all at different stages of fitness so a 1 size fits all program is pointless. There will be weekly updates and you let us know how you are doing with your goal and we will try and keep each other accountable for our goals.
In addition to updates we will have a weekly fitness challenge. Each week a different poster can give a challenge for us all to complete during the week. There may be a nutrition challenge as well but I don't want to go overboard.
This weeks challenge will be moving your carcass 1 mile. Do this however you want. Run, walk, bike, whatever just do it. These will probably become more challenging as we go but 1 mile is doable for everyone right now.
