Kansas Football

KU football unveils five new helmets for 2013 season | KUsports.com
A little Oregon type action with the Jayhawks never replicating a jersey combination throughout the year. Some will like it, some won't, but I don't think this can be viewed as anything but a positive in the recruiting game. For whatever reason the athletes eat this stuff up.

KU transfer Nick Harwell still working to graduate at Miami (Ohio) - KansasCity.com
Looks like Harwell is still TBD. We lost Martin. Jenkins-Moore is rumored to be injured. I really hope the rest of this class stays healthy and plays because we're missing some big pieces from it.

Kansas Basketball

Standing tall: A look at the top centers in the Bill Self era | KUsports.com

Misc.

Todd Simon joins UNLV Rebels coaching staff, sources say - ESPN
Seems like this could be a fairly significant addition for UNLV who is coming off a year where they had the no. 1 pick in the draft. Could the Rebs be positioning themselves for another surge toward the top of college basketball? They have some work to do, but it's been done before in Vegas.

Former KU guard Rio Adams transfers to Ohio | KUsports.com
Good luck to one of the most engaging bench personalities in Kansas history.
