Someone on the ESPN Big12 FB blog asked a question about KU upgrading the facilities. They apparently were blinded by the track and had missed all the other facility upgrades. Another poster pointed out that Rock Chalk Park is scheduled to host the 2014 Relays. That would mean that we could possibly start renovations on the stadium as early as December, as unlikely as that is. It did get me to thinking a bit. What it would take to get the ball rolling publicly on a stadium reno? Is it linked to the team's on-field performance? Would KU start another major reno while RCP is still in progress? Do you want/think the whole thing will come down and be rebuilt in one big swoop, or be a phased approach? How many should a new stadium hold?
