Post-mortem on the NITRO scoring bonus: well, I liked it. Jonathan Hake might disagree. The way I see it, the quality of your 7-9 non-championship picks, plus some luck, would determine if you placed in the top 5-10, and from there it was basically luck with the championship pick, versus being determined solely by the raw score from the other lucky picks. That said, it still would have be interesting into the Final Four games if the bonus was 25, and so next year I think the challenge should keep the bonus, but make it 25 as play4'ships suggested. It's interesting that even with such a huge 50 point bonus, only 10 people picked the overall #1 seed.
