Feeling free: Perry Ellis has career game as KU downs Iowa State | KUsports.com
Yesterday's game has me feeling pretty good about the potential next year. Ellis and Tharpe leading the charge, Traylor had moments and I REALLY hope we can hang on to Rio if for no other reason than his incredibly creative and hilarious sideline antics.

KU’s Perry Ellis proves he can be dominant - KansasCity.com
A record crowd gave KU and Iowa State a standing ovation before they even tipped off, the hype and taunts and controversies from two classic games during the regular season making the third feel like a planned after-school fight. Nobody could’ve figured this would be Ellis’ night to blueprint Kansas’ national title hopes in what would turn out to be the No. 7 Jayhawks’ 88-73 win over Iowa State in the Big 12 Tournament semifinals.

Opinion: Perry Ellis developing into nice March surprise for KU | KUsports.com
All the while, Ellis’ expression never changed. It never does, it seems. Powerful dunks. Missed layups. The praise of thousands. The harsh criticism of a coach, the scorn of an enemy crowd. Same neutral look. If Ellis were in the middle of thousands of people with a tornado in the distance, heading their way, he would be easy to pick out of the crowd. He would be the one who sports the face of a young man playing a video game, impervious to his surroundings.

Cyclones: Perry Ellis too much | KUsports.com
Convinced that their third meeting with Kansas this season would be the one that got them over the hump, Iowa State entered Friday's match-up believing it had everything covered.
