No this isn't the post where I announce that Fetch is fired from his high paying, glamorous position here with RCT. This is a post to announce that we're going to be giving a new author a spin around here beginning tomorrow with the relaunch. With the added exposure that we'll be able to provide with the new front page layout and story stream format, we'll have the ability to feature more of the great content that our esteemed author crew is cranking out and feature it for a greater amount of time when necessary. That of course means that we could use some new fresh faces with something to say.

Andrew Doughty approached me recently and has an interest in helping out here at RCT. He was a sports management major at Kansas graduating in 2011 and has been involved with the club baseball team during his time at Kansas. He has a passion for Kansas and enjoys writing about the Jayhawks and his inquiry couldn't have come at a better time. We're going to be giving Andrew an avenue to do that here at RCT beginning tomorrow (fingers crossed) so give him a welcome and here's to another voice to help keep the Jayhawk talk rolling here at RCT.

On another note Fetch is working tirelessly on a potential podcast here for Rock Chalk Talk and we're hoping to have everything up and running by basketball season. There's a good chance we could be moving forward before that, but just in case I'll set the expectations low. Nonetheless, just another something to keep an eye out for and I really hope everyone comes back after the bye week because this place is like a ghost town after Saturday.
