Welcome to the Rock Chalk Talk and your open thread for Kansas vs. Northern Illinois. One hour until game time. Kansas is coming off a game against TCU that provided some hope. Now do they come crashing back down or do they build off the positives and perhaps pull an upset on the road? It's been a long time since Kansas has won a road game, if Charlie Weis can accomplish that early during his tenure it will be a huge momentum boost. It's hard to be overly confident, but one can hope.
