Last night Kansas offensive line target Joey Bloomfield committed to Charlie Weis and Tim Grunhard. This marks the seventh commitment for the 2013 Kansas football class and a very nice addition to the offensive line going forward. Bloomfield is said to have been the top early target at the tackle position for Weis and Grunhard. The senior from Louisville Kentucky measures 6'6" 305 and is the no. 7 player in the state of Kentucky.

Bloomfield reports offers from Colorado, Houston, San Diego State, Kansas and Wyoming among others. This is the first offensive line recruit in this class and appears to be a player with the potential to be a major contributor at some point during his time at Kansas. Bloomfield won't sign on the dotted line until February, until then we'll keep our fingers crossed.
