The NBA combine kicked off on Tuesday and while it doesn't draw the attention of it's NFL counterpart, there is a certain player of interest for many Kansas fans. Thomas Robinson heads into this years draft looking to solidify the no. 2 spot. Though Robinson isn't conceding the top spot, Kentucky's Anthony Davis is a near lock to the New Orleans Hornets.
With that Robinson seems to be in a battle with another Wildcat, Michael Kidd Gilchrist for the no. 2 spot. Today Robinson might have helped his cause quite a bit and all he did was show up as himself.
Thomas Robinson measures 6-9 with a crazy 7-3 wingspan today. That should end any concerns about his size at the 4

Some of the concern with Robinson revolved around the actual height of Robinson who's physical strength has never been questioned, but at times some of wondered about his true length. Both the 6'9" height and the wingspan point to Robinson as a legitimate power forward in the NBA. There shouldn't be concerns surrounding him as a tweener and he has the measurables to play at his natural position.
Many believe this is really going to come down to Charlotte or Washington. There have been rumors that Charlotte is shopping their pick and that could play into Robinson's future as well. Either way Robinson seems to have turned a few heads today and all he had to do is show up and let the tape do the talking.
