My Solution to Conf realignment (long)

ok I've been thinking about this for a while now and here is my solution to the Realignment stuff. ok first off everybody goes to 16 teams with 4 divisions each.

For football you take out 2 non con games, then the winner of the divisions play for a chance at the conf champ game. once the conf champ is decided we go to a 4 team playoff to decide the champ. so basically it is a 16 team playoff with the 4 mega conferences. Each team would play 1 non con game and every team in their division and their "rival" division(the division they would play to get to the conf champ game) and 2 teams from each of the other two divisions on the other side of the conference (rotating of course)

here is how i think it could look

Big 12(16?)

Texas Div
Texas
TCU
Baylor
Texas Tech

Plains Div
KU
KSU
OU
OSU

North Div
ISU
Notre Dame
Louisville
WVU

South
FSU
Clemson
Miami
GT

South vs North and Texas vs Plains
so for us our schedule could look something like this

1-noncon cream puff
2-OSU
3-OU
4-Baylor
5-KSU
6-Tech
7-Clemson
8-Texas
9-WVU
10-GT
11-ISU
12-TCU

13- PLains winner vs Texas Winner

14- West winner vs East Winner

15 big 12 champ vs SEC Champ

16 nat title game

for the other conf it could look like this

PAC 16

Southern Div
Zona
ASU
San Diego St
Hawaii

Cali div
USC
UCLA
Stanford
Cal

Mountians Div
Colorado
Utah
Nevada
UNLV

Pacific Div

Mountians VS Pacific and Cali vs Southern

SEC

Western Div
TAMU
LSU
Arkansas
Missouri

Gulf Div
Bama
Auburn
Miss
MSU

Appalachain(SP) div
UK
Vandy
Tenn
Va Tech

East Div

East vs App and Gulf vs Western

B1G

Western Div

Central Div

this would keep things at 16 games MAX. also put HUGE emphasis on conf play and would be really awesome to watch. anyways let me know what you guys think
