RCT Beer Review: Summer Honey

For the first Rock Chalk Talk beer review, I decided to go with a local beer in Summer Honey. Summer Honey is brewed by the Big Sky Brewery located in Missoula Montana. If you ever find yourself in Western Montana, Big Sky Brewery is well worth a visit. With several beers on tap, you can sample up to 4 drinks (equivalent of 2 pints). They also put on a pretty cool summer concert series at the brewery. Big Sky brews are distributed around the country so it shouldn’t be difficult to find one near you.

Summer Honey is a fantastic summer beer. Light, crisp, refreshing and other beer adjectives, it’s easy to see why it’s virtually impossible to attend a Montana summer barbecue without having this beer. This beer is very easy to drink, especially on a hot day.

Summer Honey is 4.8% alcohol by volume and is available April through September.
